The nice town of Kettwig is well located to the big cities of Essen and Düsseldorf and to the airport of Düsseldorf and the exhibtion-areas of both cities. The nice valley ot the river Ruhr is a wonderful place for sport activities and relaxing.

Unser kleines und modernes Appartement mit Küche und Bad liegt in einer 45 qm großen Einlieger-Wohnung in einem hübschen Reihenhaus in Essen-Kettwig. Es handelt sich um eine ruhige Wohnstraße (Sackgasse) in zentraler Lage, ca. 5 Min zur Innenstadt von Kettwig. Vor dem Haus gibt es ausreichend Parkplätze. Unser Appartement verfügt über einen eigenen, getrennten Eingang direkt neben der Haupt-Wohnung.
Our small and modern apartment with kitchen and bathroom is located in a 45 sqm large granny flat in a nice row house in Essen-Kettwig. It is a quiet residential street (dead end street) in a central location (about 5 minutes to the city centre of Kettwig).
Our apartment has its own separate entrance right next to the main flat. In front of the house there are sufficient parking spaces.“
Kettwig ist eine kleine Stadt (ca. 20.000 Einwohner) an der Ruhr im Süden von Essen und besticht durch seine hübschen Altstadgassen, Kneipen, Restaurants und Biergärten. Die Altstadt liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe der Ruhr in einem schönen Flußtal mit vielen Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Es besteht eine sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung (S-Bahn/ Autobahn) zur Innenstadt Essen (10 Min.) und Düsseldorf (20 Min.) bzw. zum Flughafen Düsseldorf (15 Min.).
Kettwig is a small town (approx. 20,000 inhabitants) located by the river Ruhr in the south of Essen. It is characterized by its beautiful old town alleys, pubs, restaurants and beer gardens.
There is a good transport connection to Essen (10 minutes by car) and Düsseldorf (about 20 minutes by car) as well as to the trade fairs and to Düsseldorf airport (about 15 minutes by car).“
Bis zur Ruhr und zum Ruhrtal-Radweg sind es mit dem Rad nur 5 Min, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wohnung befinden sich außerdem Bäcker, Restaurants und Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs. Das Frei- und Hallenbad von Kettwig sind ca 300 m entfernt. Besucher mit Rädern können diese kostenfrei in unserer Garage unterstellen. Das schöne Ruhrtal mit seinem endlosen Leinpfad bieten Freizeitradlern sowie Mountainbikern unzählige Möglichkeiten.
To the Ruhr and to the Ruhrtal cycle path it takes only 5 minutes by bike, in immediate proximity to the apartment there are also bakers, restaurants and shops of the daily needs. Visitors with bicycles are allowed to store them free of charge in our garage. It´s only 5 Min. to walk to the public swimming area of Kettwig with in- and outdoor pools. The lovely valley of the river Ruhr with its endless paths and the wonderful trails of the hiking tour along the Ruhr are a fantastic area for mountainbikers and normal bike riders.
